Back in March, a select group of Year 12 students
had the exciting opportunity to attend
a Career Discovery Day at Accenture.
The event featured engaging presentations, dynamic group work, and the chance to collaborate with students from other schools. The feedback from the hosts was very positive, highlighting our students' enthusiasm, teamwork, and insightful contributions.
Our students are seen attentively listening to the valuable advice!
Here is some feedback from Year 12 students, Matthew M, Jenan M, Ruben H, Theodora K, and Elena M, who attended the event:
"My impression was that the session was useful it helped me gain a better understanding of apprenticeships. The best part was the last part about when we had to create a presentation. The day made me consider apprenticeship as a next step."
"Everyone there was very welcoming and inclusive to everyone who had attended. The experience overall gave me an insight to their work and what they do."
"I enjoyed the Accenture event and I found it interesting. The things I enjoyed the most were the tour around the building and the presentation we had to prepare together in a group.”
