Aspire to Oxford Programme
A select few of our Year 12 Students took a day trip up to Oxford University!
January 22nd | Ms Snyder
Our Year 12 students recently had the exciting opportunity to visit the University of Oxford, as part of the "Aspire to Oxford" or "Aim for Oxford" Programme. The programme is designed to help provide students with specific support to apply to ambitious courses at competitive Russell Group Universities.

It helps Year 12 students to develop critical thinking skills so they can develop and confidently express their views, within their specific area of interest.
The visit also included a Q&A session with current Oxford students, offering valuable insight into university life and the admissions process.
During the day, students took part in a University Museum tour, enjoyed lunch in the grand hall, explored the historic colleges, and visited the world famous Bodleian Library.

Lunch in The Grand Hall!
Students are also offered support with finding relevant work experience, visiting universities, preparing for university admissions tests and developing interview skills, including mock interviews with senior staff and governors. This trip inspired our students to aim high and gain confidence in pursuing ambitious academic goals.
Thank you Ms Snyder for arranging this trip for our Year 12s!
