I am delighted and proud to announce that we have been awarded with
The Excellence in Pupil Development Award.
This award offers a structured framework to evaluate and enrich our pastoral curriculum.
It supports us in developing pupil’s personal attributes and attitudes, such as self-confidence, resilience and self-discipline.
With a focus on involving local and national organisations, it helps us prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.
Mr David Bullock | Principal
The feedback from the moderator was that our work in this area was second to none and the joined up nature of our provision was exceptional.
He had never see a secondary school like this before and he had no caveat or areas to improve. He said the students and staff he met today were fantastic and he commented that the students said it felt more like belonging to a family rather than a school.
"It felt more like belonging to a family rather than a school"
They said that staff went above and beyond for them and they really appreciated the support and care they receive.

A massive thanks to Ms D Gorasia and Ms D Strat who have worked tirelessly to prepare the audit, paperwork and collate the resources for the successful bid, and to all those involved in supporting and delivering our excellent provision.
Outstanding Judgement
This essentially gives us an Outstanding judgement for the Personal Development section of the Ofsted Inspection and reflects to culture of excellence and ambition we foster for our young people and staff on a daily basis.
Well done!
The EPDA is one of several awards schools can strive for from Award Place, who offer....
Accreditation - They offer formal recognition that a school has met – and can evidence – very high standards of provision and practice.
School improvement - Strategies and interventions that bring about positive change and improve pupil outcomes.
Whole-school approach - Involve the wider community and relevant stakeholders – such as parents, pupils and staff – in the change process.
