Canons High School

Year 13's Leavers Lunch

We held a wonderful celebratory lunch to honour our Year 13 leavers, marking the end of their school journey.

This year marks a bittersweet moment as we bid farewell to our Year 13 leavers, and reflect on their incredible achievements over the years.

They have navigated their final year with resilience and determination, facing challenges and creating lasting memories with friends and peers. Each experience has shaped them into the unique and remarkable students that they are today! This lunch was a heartfelt way to acknowledge the hard-work and dedication of our Year 13 students, and present them with certificates to celebrate their time at Canons Sixth Form.

Tables were spread with a variety of snacks and delicious treats

Sixth Form Teachers and Principal Mr Bullock, shared speeches containing anecdotes and memorable moments of the students' journeys.
Valuable advice was also shared, emphasising the importance of life-long learning, and encouraging students to stay true to their passions and one-selves, as they begin the transition into the next phase of life!

Year 13, As you gear up for their final exams soon, it is important to focus on effective preparation strategies, but most importantly, a positive mindset! Balancing preparation with self care, adequate rest and eating can make a big difference in your performance.

We are proud to see you venture into adulthood, whether that means pursuing higher education, entering the workforce or exploring their passion, we are confident you will make a positive impact wherever you go!
