Introducing Met Engage...

July 10th

Superintendent Writer, from our local Harrow Police department would like to introduce a new approach to families of our students. "Met Engage" is the Metropolitan Police Service’s refreshed approach to community engagement, and to outline the benefits it brings to our borough in Harrow.

Met Engage is built on the principle of consistent, meaningful, and transparent dialogue between local policing teams and the communities we serve. Through structured ward panels, targeted engagement, and regular sharing of local priorities and outcomes, Met Engage enables us to build trust, strengthen partnerships, and deliver a more responsive and visible policing service.

In Harrow, Met Engage is now live across all 22 wards to ensure every community has a voice and every concern is heard.

This initiative will enable more residents to stay informed, contribute to local policing discussions, and engage directly with their neighbourhood teams and the framework allows you, councillors, residents, and partners to play an active role in shaping local policing priorities — reinforcing accountability and improving community safety outcomes.

Signing up will enable families to stay informed and play a role in shaping local policing.
