un milione di grazie
We said goodbye to our visiting friends from Florence on Friday and we'd like to thank everyone who made their second visit to Canons High so successful.
Our International Coordinator Ms Deborah Matomby wrote to her school friends and colleagues...
"I would like to say thank you a million times for all of the contributions made towards a successful hosting experience with Liceo G. Pascoli.
The teachers and students were amazed by the programme, thoroughly enjoyed all of the workshops they participated in and appreciated our hospitality as a school community.
They were well received and had many interesting discussions with a number of staff members around the school.
Their teachers, Alessia, Chiara and the students send their regards and are really looking forwards to seeing us next week when we travel over to Italy to visit them.#
Here's to even more collaborations in future years!"
We were able to allocate one of the brand new rooms in our new Learning Hub as their 'Home' whilst in school with us at Canons.
Our friends from Florence received a very warm official welcome from Principal Mr David Bullock.
We also played a huge, international game of 'Capture the Flag'. The Italians won.
They enjoyed a fun cooking session, where they made that most British of treats, scones!...
