October 9th | Mr Evans
On Thursday during Period 5, Year 7 students were surprised with a special visit from 'The Riot Act', a powerful road safety theatre workshop organised by Harrow Council. ‘The Riot Act’ promotes safe travel in an interactive and unforgettable way, teaching essential safety practices when travelling around roads.

The performance, cleverly disguised as a typical school play, quickly captured students' attention with its relatable characters and real-life scenarios involving young people and road safety.
'The Riot Act' is an interactive performance, including students in questions and answers, and activities to keep them engaged and involved.

As the plot unfolded, students were drawn into the story — laughing, reflecting, and gasping in shock at the unexpected and hard-hitting ending.
The play delivered a vital message about the dangers of distraction, peer pressure, and risky behaviour near roads, using live drama to drive home its point in a memorable way. The immersive style and powerful storytelling had students fully engaged throughout, sparking important conversations afterwards.
We thank Harrow Council and The Riot Act team for delivering such an impactful session. It was an unforgettable learning experience that left a lasting impression on all who attended.
