A full range of events to support your child as they join the Canons High School community
 

• Bridging Newsletters - 7th March, 7th April & 7th June 2023
  Check your email inbox for a series of bulletins from Mrs Gorasia and the Key Stage 3 Team which contains some useful information about starting Year 7 at Canons High School. 
• Open Evening Event - Tuesday 14th March 2023   5pm-6pm
  Welcome to our school community: an introduction to Canons High School.
  If you are holding an offer for Canons High school, an opportunity to come along and meet the Headteacher, Dr Bartle and members of the Senior Leadership Team and have a tour of the school.
  Current Year 7 students will also be holding a 'Questions & Answers' session for Year 6 pupils. 
• Transition Day - Wednesday 5th July 2023
  An opportunity for your child to come along to Canons for the day. 
  They will meet their new tutor and participate in activities which help them get to know one another.
  They will also meet their new teachers and discover more about the subjects they will be learning at secondary school. 
• Sports Camp - 2 weeks (dates to be confirmed)
  Open free of charge to all new Year 7 students, our summer Sports Camp focuses on team building, competing and enjoying sport.
  Helping your child to make new friends, the prime aim is to ensure an enjoyable and a valuable experience, with the chance to learn and build skills in a range of sports.

  Your child’s first day as part of our Canons community.
