Open Evening event
Welcome to our school community: An introduction to Canons High School If you have an offer for Canons High school, this is an opportunity to come along and meet the Principal, Mr Bullock and members of the Senior Leadership team, the KS3 Pastoral team and have a tour of the school. Current Year 7 students will also be holding a Q&A session for Year 6 students.

2nd July 2025

Transition day
An opportunity for your child to come along to Canons for the day. They will meet their new tutor and participate in activities which help them get to know one another. They will also meet their new teachers and discover more about the subjects they will be learning at secondary school.

9th July 2025 5.30pm - 7.00pm

Transition evening
Presentations from the Head of Year 7, members of the Senior Leadership team and current Year 7 student leaders.
An opportunity for parents to meet the KS3 Pastoral team and your child’s form tutor.

2 weeks 21st July – 1st August 2025

Summer sports camp
Free of charge to all Year 7 students, our summer sports camp focuses on team building, competing and enjoying sport. Helping your child to make new friends, the prime aim is to ensure an enjoyable and a valuable experience, with the chance to learn and build skills in a range of sports.
